Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water (for the syrup)
- 1/4 cup water (for blending)
- 2 limes, zested and juiced
- 2 large green mangoes, peeled and roughly sliced
- 1/4 cup triple sec
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1 lime wedge
- Ice
Method
- Make a syrup by boiling the water and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the lime zest and juice, and let cool.
- In a blender, combine the water and mango and blend until smooth. Combine the syrup, triple sec and tequila in a shaker with ice, then blend once more until the mixture is smooth.
- Run a lime wedge around a Saltist shot glass. Fill the glass halfway with sorbet and serve.
Serve it in our Himalayan salt shot glasses: the natural pink salt adds a gentle salty edge to every spoonful.
