Founded in Bondi in 2021, Saltist was born when founder Laura, identified a gap in the market for a high-end, elegant way to sip tequila. What began as a search for a refined ritual led to the creation of Australia’s first signature Himalayan salt shot glasses.

But these glasses are more than just vessels, they’re the perfect embodiment of Saltist’s philosophy: ground from earth. They celebrate the richness of natural materials, transforming everyday moments into sensual experiences that connect us back to nature—and to each other.

Laura launched Saltist in 2021 with a clear vision: to elevate the tequila ritual with natural, handcrafted saltware. What started as a collaborative side project quickly became a full-time pursuit. But from the beginning, her intention was always to create something beautiful, considered, and different.

Saltist isn’t about mass production or trend-chasing. It’s about pieces that are purposeful and personal—an extension of Laura’s love for thoughtful gifting and timeless design.

With over 15 years’ experience as a brand builder and entrepreneur, Laura brings a blend of intuition, resilience, and creative clarity. Until now, she’s remained mostly behind the scenes—but as Saltist grows, she’s ready to share more of the journey: the highs, the hurdles, and the heart behind the brand. Saltist reflects her belief that even the smallest rituals—like sharing a drink—can carry deep meaning. And by opening up more of her story, Laura hopes to foster a more genuine connection with the Saltist community.
