Meet: The Tommy's Margarita

In a nutshell, a Tommy’s Margarita serves up a fresher take on your classic marg, and the key lies in the sweetener. Unlike the traditional recipe—which often uses an orange liqueur like Cointreau or triple sec (and sometimes even a basic sugar syrup)—the Tommy’s swaps all this out for a simpler sweetener: agave nectar.

The result? The Tommy’s has a more nuanced, subtle sweetness that complements the tequila taste perfectly. And given agave nectar derives from the same plant, the earthiness it infuses doesn’t fight with the tequila, it dances with it. Overall, the flavour profile is more elevated, more refined and becoming increasingly popular amongst margarita lovers.
